Preface

Tea for Two is the history of my personal and professional life with my wife June:

1. Adventures in the Ballet involved our start, traveling by bus in small orchestras all the way through large tours in important places with world-class conductors, singers, and ballet dancers.
2. Origins is the story of how we created American Chamber Concerts and presented ourselves on important New York Stages successfully.
3. Making a Career in the 1980s is a story of unlimited mileage airplane tickets, tours to south American and the far East, and cruises.
4. Fundamental Changes is the story of June’s appointment as Distinguished Visiting Professor at the College of Wooster, our move to Chicago, and taking advantage of the switch from LP records to CDs and the emergence of Amazon, which gave us distribution and credibility.
5. The Millenium is the summing up of our careers playing, teaching, and publishing.
